On Monday, August 1, 2011, The Jacob Edwards Library was pleased to present a magic show with Ed The Wizard. Fifty two people were under the magic spell for the hour-long program. The magician cited many references to books throughout his performance, including to Hocus Pocus A Tale of Magnificant Magicians which he kindly donated to JEL, so everyone can access. Another interesting tale was that of the audio CD that Ed the Wizard borrowed through his own public library and it came from Southbridge! Another great program brought to you by the Southbridge Cultural Council.

Eighty five kids attended the marvelous magic show by Frank Damelio, at the Jacob Edwards Library, Southbridge, MA. For a solid sixty minutes the kids were captivated! Laughter was everywhere. Immediately after the show, the magician made characters for the kids using balloons in all kinds of shapes. Complimentary lunch was served. Thanks to the support of the Summer Food Service and Project Bread that made this program possible.
